The Lion’s Gate Portal

Of late, there has been much talk about the “Lion’s Gate Portal”, a portal of energy that opened on July 28th, will reach its peak on August 8th, before closing a few days later on August 12th.
So, what is the Lion’s Gate Portal, and what makes this year so special?
Each summer Sirius, the brightest star in the sky - second only to our Sun - comes to right angles with the Sun, and then aligns with our Earth. This event becomes exact on August 8th. The Egyptians lined up the Great Pyramid of Giza so that on August 8th the top of the pyramid would align Sirius with the Earth. At some point I will dive deeply into ancient Egypt’s transformational use of astrology - we can thank ancient Egypt for the advanced mathematics we practice today, birthed from the progression of the stars…
Now let’s take a moment to devote to Sirius, the Dog Star.
Sirius is called the Dog Star for it is the brightest star in the constellation of Canis Major. Sirius was visible throughout the summer months, often linked to the yearly flooding of the Nile in ancient Egypt.
Sirius, in the study of fixed stars, is one of the most powerful stars in the Heavens. Whilst not a Royal Star, Sirius is the brightest, and therefore exhibits strength and power similar to, if not exceeding, that of the Royal Stars of Persia: Fomalhaut, Aldebaran, Regulus and Antares. Like the Royal Stars of Persia, Sirius comes with greatness and a downside.
Sirius is known as the Scorcher. In a birth chart, he will bring a “fame that burns”. Princess Diana had Sirius culminating with her Sun, and Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle were also born with Sirius prominently placed in their charts.
Sirius is capable of spurring one to great achievements, but one must be prepared to deal with the burn that the second brightest star in our sky can impart.
