Mars enters Aries and the Season of the Twins

Gemini Season, the sign of the Twins, is officially upon us.
As I write this, the Sun is at 4 degrees of Gemini, making harmonious aspects (a sextile) to Jupiter at 2 degrees of Aries, and Mars, newly minted in the sign of his dominance, Aries at 0 degrees.
In Gemini, the Sun is curious, persuasive, changeable and a little restless. There can be a duality to people’s natures, or circumstances – look for the other side – there will be one.
Gemini is in the element of Air, and rules the third house of communication, siblings, neighbors, short-distance travel, and writing. Usually, writing projects that are not long and penetrating pieces, think journalism, short stories, screenplays and teleplays. Virgo rules novels, and long focused writing projects. Both Gemini and Virgo are ruled by Mercury.
Speaking of Mercury, he is still retrograde, and will remain so until June 3rd, thus tempering our start to Gemini Season. We may not have an easy time accessing all the benefits of Gemini right away: quick wit, clever fast mind and speech – we may feel a bit off, but June 3rd is just a little over a week away. Review and revisit until then.
Also stealing the thunder of Gemini Season is Mars. As I write this, we have three planets in Aries: Venus, Jupiter and Mars, with the moon gliding through Aries as well.
Mars, the God of War, rules Aries, and he is charging through using the advantage of a conjunction to Jupiter to expand his drive and fire. Watch for aggression now and overassertiveness. But do charge after what you want without fear, knowing in your heart you WILL get what you desire. Jupiter will see that fearless energy put forth meets with luck.
With so many planets no longer in dreamy Pisces, who allowed the vision to come through, Mars in Aries will set about making that vision a reality – and Gemini will figure out the smartest way to do it.
